Gawad Pambansang Alagad ni Balagtas
The Gawad Pambansang Alagad ni Balagtas is a lifetime achievement award for writers in various Philippine literatures. The award consists of a citation and a sculpted hardwood trophy by renowned artist Manuel Baldemor. This is given at the closing ceremonies of the annual UMPIL Congress.
